Personal information collected and the purpose of the data processing

The processing of personal data carried out through relates exclusively to navigation data normally received by the HTTP service (such as IP address, operating system and any other data normally passed from the client to the server via the HTTP protocol). These data are kept for one year, then anonymised and stored indefinitely for statistical and security purposes only.

The data are processed by the CNR in the performance of its tasks of public interest or any case related to the exercise of its public powers, including the purposes of scientific research and analysis for statistical purposes, teaching, and administration, by Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e) also, to provide and improve the web services offered. This data is processed by internal staff trained in advance in a lawful, correct, relevant manner, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing under the principles set out in Article 5 of EU Regulation 2016/679. The data is retained only for any need for the investigation of criminal offences by the judicial authorities. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
