H2IOSC @ Italian Tripartite Assembly on the European Open Science Cloud

The Italian Tripartite Assembly on the European Open Science Cloud (ITAEOSC 2023) event, sponsored by the MUR as part of the national tripartite events of the EOSC-Association, European Commission and EOSC Steering Board, will be held in Rome on June 5.

The event will take place at the Conference Hall of the National Research Council headquarters. Kicking off the assembly will be CNR President Maria Chiara Carrozza and MUR Minister Anna Maria Bernini.

The program will focus on the initiatives, opportunities and needs for national, European and international collaboration to pursue in a coordinated way the transition to the Open Science paradigm and the construction of the European Open Science Cloud: a cross-domain platform for European research that will implement an internet of scientific data and services to support open and transparent scientific collaboration.

The morning session will open with messages from governance representatives: MUR, European Commission, EOSC Association, EOSC Board. The session will continue with an EOSC “Doers” panel discussion on current and prospective actions to implement the National Plan for Open Science (PNSA).

H2IOSC will be present!

H2IOSC, Humanities and Heritage Italian Open Science Cloud aims to create a federated digital research infrastructure in the ESFRI domain of Social and Cultural Innovation, starting from the collaboration between the four high-priority infrastructures identified in the National Research Infrastructure Plan 2021-27, CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure), DARIAH (Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities), E-RIHS (European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science) and OPERAS (Open Scholarly Communication in the European Research Area for Social Sciences and Humanities).
